Tonia says: Rough start, but we're here...

Our flight was at 8:20 this morning so we asked Michael's dad to drive us to the airport. We asked him to be at our house at 6am....so he rang our doorbell at 5:20am. So while he had coffee in the kitchen, we scrambled to get ready to leave. At the airport, we're told that even though we reserved seats we have been moved. Obviously, Michael is seated next to a set of 9 month old twins and one of them keeps grabbing at his Ipod wires.

But it's ok cuz we're finally here at Hotel Abri in San Francisco! The weather is a little sketchy (cloudy, 14 degrees)...yes we know it's like 30 in Montreal! The hotel is nice, small but clean. Turns out our friends our honeymooning in SF too and are staying at a hotel 4 minutes (walking!) away...so tonight we'll probably crash their romantic dinner and spend the evening with them. Yup, we actually got them to "add 2" to their reservation! We'll post pics in the next blog posting, I promise. Right now, they would just be pics of 2 un-showered people with their luggage open all around them.

  1. I think we should blog all the time. These antics are hilarious. Tonia, you know by now that for massimo's family you have to lie about time backwards and for my family you have to tell them a time a little in advance so they will come when you want. But i think my dad just wanted an espresso.
enjoy your tuesday, don't be like the seinfeld's and stay with the honeymooner all the time. Kidding, i wouldn't mind the company, saying this after vacationing with my husband of 10 years and our dinner conversation have reduced to complaining about the tablecloths and decor.
